INDIE HORROR DAY AT THE CAMDEN FILM FAIR!

Horror fans get your shriek on at the Camden Film Fair’s INDIE HORROR DAY on Saturday 12th December from 9.30am – 3.30pm! You’ll be able to meet some of the stars, directors and crew of award-winning short Seize the Night, US splatter movie Wrong Turn 6, British horror anthology Fragments of Fear and dark fantasy Serurta as well as extreme horror author Matt Shaw and Space Monsters Magazine publisher Cyberschizoid!

There will be signings and fan meets with gorgeous Emma Dark, handsome Anthony Ilott, sultry Merlyn Roberts, wolftastic Carey Thring, sexy Sharon O’Brien-Lumley and hunky Chris Hampshire.

There are also a whole ton of stalls specialising in movie memorabilia, horror merchandise, monster magazines, DVDs, posters, T-shirts, books and so much more for the dedicated film and horror fan and this all takes place at the legendary Electric Ballroom from 9:30am – 3:30pm – right next to Camden Town tube station – and the entrance is only £3 for adults!!!

The Camden Film Fair is looking to expand and is particularly interested in traders who deal in comics, vinyl (including movie soundtracks), movie related toys (including Star Wars and other fantasy blockbusters old and new), horror film clothing and collectibles and Manga merchandise so if you would like to book a stand or require more information just email Camden Film Fair at info@midnight-media.net – or you can call on 01832 731774 (10am – 6pm).

It’s almost Halloween and the Camden Film Fair celebrates early on Saturday 24th October from 10am – 4pm at the Electric Ballroom, London with special guests Peter Wyngarde (Jason King, The Innocents, Night of the Eagle, Doctor Who)and Edina Ronay (Prehistoric Women, The Black Torment, A Study in Terror). House of Hammer and Monster Mag supremo Dez Skinn will also be making an appearance alongside Space Monsters’ Cyberschizoid and Eric McNaughton from We Belong Dead magazine!

The Camden Film Fair is held 6 times a year at Camden’s legendary ELECTRIC BALLROOM

There are up to 60 stands selling movie memorabilia including: DVD, Blu-ray, video, magazines, books, posters, stills, autographs, programmes, soundtracks, postcards and more. There are also regular appearances by very special guests from the worlds of cinema and television!

MEET EXPLOITATION KING “GREYDON CLARK” THIS FRIDAY AT “THE CINEMA STORE” IN LONDON!

On Friday 25th September we are pleased to announce that legendary producer and director Greydon Clark will be visiting London and making a once in a lifetime appearance at London’s “The Cinema Store”.

Greydon Clark‘s career spans several decades where he directed, wrote, produced and starred in numerous exploitation films…working with directors such as Al Adamson (Satan’s Sadists,Dracula Vs Frankenstein),David Hewitt (Psychic Killer) and David L Hewitt (Mighty Gorga, The Girls from Thunder Strip).

Greydon’s films include all your favourite cult/drive in classics so come down meet the man himself as he will have copies of his book “On the Cheap-My Life in Low Budget Filmmaking” for sale and will sign dvds and memorabilia.

BORN TO DEVASTATE AND BRUTALIZE A UNIVERSE!

A female crew member of a space archaeology expedition mysteriously vanishes during a survey of a distant planet. When she is found she is discovered to be pregnant, and soon begins to act strangely. This gory sci-fi horror film directed by cult British director Norman J Warren was formerly banned on video under the 1984 Video Recordings Act but has since become a firm fan favourite.

A brilliant performance from Judy Geeson manages to elevate Inseminoid above many of the other Alien rip-offs doing the rounds during the eighties. Add to this an interesting cast which includes Stephanie Beacham and Victoria Tennant, some fun over-the-top gore and a set of nasty alien twins and you end up with an entertaining bad movie “classic”!

“MONSTER MARKET” – OPEN FOR TWO WEEKS ONLY! SPECIAL EVENT!

Space Monsters Magazine and Wyntercon are set to invade the first birthday celebrations of London Road’s Open Market with a feast of beasts, babes, and B-movies!

The Monster Market runs from July 18^th through to July 31^st inclusive from 10am to 5pm daily (closed Sundays). The stall includes a host of movie and television memorabilia, posters, DVDs and books, as well as Space Monsters Magazine and Space Monsters t-shirts. Many of these will be in exclusively discounted bundles or limited editions.

The stall will also be promoting the second annual Wyntercon.

Wyntercon is Eastbourne’s award-winning, multi-genre convention, encompassing fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and alternative culture for fans of all ages. Set in the historic and picturesque Winter Gardens, the convention runs from October 31st through to November 1st, and will feature a Magic: The Gathering tournament.
