EILEEN DALY – SPECIAL “SCREEN QUEENS” EVENT!

Thirteen really is a lucky number for horror fans as there are not just one but two fangtastic film events on Saturday 13th February! We’ve already told you about the Film Fair at Camden but now we can announce Screen Queens at the Roxy Bar & Screen hosted by British actress Eileen Daly! Known to horror fans for her starring role as vampire Lilith Silver in Jake West’s cult classic Razor Blade Smile and countless other fear flicks (including The Amityville Asylum, Cradle of Fear, Braincell) Eileen has recently achieved new heights of fame and a whole new fanbase via her appearances on the top-rated reality tv shows Big Brother and The X Factor!

Eileen is a girl of many talents, owner of her production company Eileen Daly Productions where she writes, directs and produces ghost hunting shows along with many feature films that are not for the faint-hearted and at Screen Queens she will be premiering her two brand new films First Bite and Hollywood Betrayed! There will also be music, Q & A’s, burlesque, vintage and designer stalls and more!

Start time is 1pm and you can buy tickets in advance from Eileen’s Official Website – but hurry! Numbers are limited!

It’s almost Halloween and the Camden Film Fair celebrates early on Saturday 24th October from 10am – 4pm at the Electric Ballroom, London with special guests Peter Wyngarde (Jason King, The Innocents, Night of the Eagle, Doctor Who)and Edina Ronay (Prehistoric Women, The Black Torment, A Study in Terror). House of Hammer and Monster Mag supremo Dez Skinn will also be making an appearance alongside Space Monsters’ Cyberschizoid and Eric McNaughton from We Belong Dead magazine!

The Camden Film Fair is held 6 times a year at Camden’s legendary ELECTRIC BALLROOM

The Electric Ballroom, 184 Camden High Street, London, NW1 8QP

There are up to 60 stands selling movie memorabilia including: DVD, Blu-ray, video, magazines, books, posters, stills, autographs, programmes, soundtracks, postcards and more. There are also regular appearances by very special guests from the worlds of cinema and television!

CLASSIC HORROR MONSTER MEETS SEXY SCREAM QUEEN AT THE CAMDEN FILM FAIR!

The next Camden Film Fair is taking place on Saturday 6th December from 10am – 4pm at the Electric Ballroom (next to Camden Tube Station) and features two special guests that cross the generations. Classic horror film actor Paul Stockman (Dr Blood’s Coffin, Konga, The Skull) joins rising star British scream queen Dani Thompson (Serial Kaller, Cute Little Buggers, Axe to Grind, Christmas Slay, Fragments of Fear) for a day of signing autographs, taking pictures and chatting to fans.

At the last Camden Film Fair there was an unexpected appearance by Jason Voorhees from the Friday 13th movies so watch out for more surprises on Saturday 6th December!

They will be hosting several evenings with various classic Doctor Who companions at the funky Flatplanet cafe bar in London’s trendy Soho including Wendy Padbury (Zoe), Nicola Bryant (Peri), Louise Jameson (Leela), Deborah Watling (Victoria) and Katy Manning (Jo Grant). These exclusive and intimate events include film clips, interviews, Q & A’s and a chance to meet the guests and get autographs but tickets are limited and sell out fast. This Sunday Space Monsters Magazine and the Classic Horror Campaign join forces to present a tribute to special-effects maestro Ray Harryhausen this Sunday 16th June at the Roxy Bar and Screen in London. Cyberschizoid and Dr Karen Oughton will be screening classic sci-fi movies Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers (1956) and First Men In The Moon (1964) and interviewing Alan Friswell a special effects expert who worked closely with Ray Harryhausen in restoring his original stop-motion models.
